Andy Murray, De Loughry Place, Kilkenny City passed away peacefully on Monday 15th January 2024 in the excellent care of all the staff in Kilkenny Care Centre surrounded by his devoted and loving family, predeceased by his wife Maria (nee Brennan), his Parents Sean and Myra, his brother Martin and his sister-in-law Peggy (nee Long). Sadly missed by his daughters Gemma and Andrea, sons-in-law Niall and James, brothers Sean, Michael, and Joe, sisters Peggy, Mary, Monica and Joann. Andy will be forever missed by his sisters-in-law Joan and Liz, grandchildren Charlie, Billy, Recce, Harry, Freddie and Faye, his nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Andy will be reposing in Shasby’s Funeral Home, Kilkenny City (R95 FH1F) on Wednesday (17th January 2024) from 5pm to 8pm with rosary and vigil prayers at 6.30pm. Requiem Mass will be celebrated at 11am on Thursday (18th January) in St. Mary’s Cathedral and followed by burial in Foulkstown Cemetery, Kilkenny City. The Funeral Cortege will walk to “Little Andys Pub” enroute to Foulkstown Cemetery.
