Angela (Bernadette) Shanley

The death has occurred of Angela (Bernadette) Shanley, Belvilla Nursing Home, 129 South Circular Road, Dublin 8, and formerly of Drimnagh, Dublin, Duleek, Co. Meath and Surrey, England, peacefully on the 29th May, 2021, with Anne, Tom, Oliver and Ger by her bedside, and in the tender care of the nursing staff in Belvilla Nursing Home. Predeceased by her parents Timothy and Georgina Shanley, her stepmother Monica and her infant brother Stephen.

Bernadette will be sadly missed by her siblings, Betty (Kiely) (California), Michael (England), Anne (Woods-Rochfort) (Dublin), Oliver (Meath), Tim (Clonmel), Eamon (Australia), Georgina (New Jersey), Nuala (Enniskillen), Stephen (Dublin), Pat (Meath), and Geraldine (Pennsylvania), her brothers in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, extended family, and the staff and fellow residents in Belvilla Nursing Home.

Bernadette's funeral Mass will take place in St. Livinius Church, Killulagh, Delvin, Co. Westmeath (Eircode N91 HP66) this Tuesday morning, June 1st, at 11am, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery (attendance in church limited to 50 persons).
