It is with deep sadness we announce the death of Ann Carey (née Purcell) Clarina Avenue, Ballinacurra Weston, Limerick and formerly of Claughaun Avenue, Garryowen, Limerick.
On January 22nd 2026, peacefully, at St. John’s Hospital, surrounded by loving family.
Very deeply regretted by husband Robert, sons David and Jeff, daughter Jackie, adored grandchildren, great grandchildren, daughters-in-law Janet and Sandra, son-in-law Chris, sisters Marie, Breda, Ber and Joyce, brother Jim, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, other relatives, friends and neighbours.
Pre-deceased by parents Sean and Christine, sisters Rita and Frances and brother Tony.

Reposing at Cross’s Funeral Home, Lower Gerald Griffin Street, Monday, January 26th, from 10.30am to 11.30am, followed by removal to St. John’s Cathedral, Cathedral Place, to arrive for Requiem Mass at 12pm, Funeral afterwards to Mount St. Oliver Cemetery.

Ann’s family would like to express their deepest gratitude to the Doctors, Nurses and Staff of St. John’s Hospital for their care and support to Ann in her final days.
