On Thursday Ann passed away peacefully at University Hospital, Galway after an illness borne with dignity and acceptance. Dearly beloved wife of Paul and much loved mother of Paula, Regina, Michael and Anita. Predeceased by her beloved brother Eamon and her parents Margaret (Peggy) and Michael. Sadly missed and mourned by her husband and children, her daughter-in-law Jackie, sons-in-law Aidan, Shane and Ray, her adored grandchildren Eric, Megan, Paul, Amy, Oisín and Conor, sisters Mary, Margaret and Cepta, brothers John, Michael, Tommy, Martin and Frank, nieces, nephews, the extended Cheevers and Keady family, neighbours and many great friends.
Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Ann on Sunday, 17th January, 2021 at 1.30 p.m. in the Church of the Holy Family, Mervue. Private cremation to follow. Family flowers only please. Donations if preferred to the Patient Comfort Fund (Claddagh Ward and ICU) University College Hospital, Galway.
The attendance at the Church , outside the Church door and at the Crematorium will be limited to 10 people. Gatherings are not advised in an effort to stop the spread of Covid-19 .
