Ann Dowling Hughes

Ann died peacefully, in the wonderful care of the staff of Mayo Hospice, Castlebar, surrounded by her heartbroken family on September 5th, 2023. Predeceased by her husband John, parents and brother George. Ann will be sadly missed and always remembered by her family, her beloved son Sean and his fiancée Breda, sisters Teresa Keegan (Mullingar) and Kay Grant (Letterkenny), brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, great-grandnephew, relatives, neighbours and her many dear friends.

Tenderly we will treasure the past,

With memories that will always last.

Reposing in Our Lady's Manor Chapel, Edgeworthstown, on Thursday 7th from 6pm concluding with prayers at 7.30pm. Funeral cortege will leave her home on Friday 8th to arrive to St. James Church, Clonbroney, for Funeral Mass at 12noon, with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations if desired to, Mayo Hospice, Castlebar c/o Connell Funeral Directors or any family member.
