(née Lawlor)

Artane, Dublin / Camolin, Wexford

Lydon, Ann, (née Lawlor) – 12th March 2026, (Artane and formerly of Camolin, Wexford), Peacefully after a short illness surrounded by her loving family and in the wonderful care of staff at Beaumont Hospital. Beloved wife of the late Patrick and loving mother of Maureen, Donocadh and Ailish. Predeceased by her parents Mary and Patrick Lawlor, brothers John, Jim, Kevin and sister (Maisie) Sr Immaculate Heart OP. Very sadly missed by her son and daughters, sons-in-law Nicholas and Matthew, Donocadh’s partner Mandy, grandchildren Tomás and Senan, brother Moling, sisters-in-law Annamay, Una, Phyllis and Anne (Lydon), Cousin Marion O’Byrne and husband Ger, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours.

 

The family would like to say a special thank you to the staff in the Emergency Department, St Laurence’s Ward, The Heart Support Unit including medical & nursing staff and palliative care team involved in Ann’s clinical management at Beaumont Hospital and acknowledgement of the wonderful care and kindness.

Funeral mass will take place on Monday morning 16th March at 10am in Our Lady of Mercy Church, Artane followed by Burial in Balgriffin Cemetery.
