Ann (Granny) Gilmartin

The death has occurred of Ann (Granny) Gilmartin, (nee Rowley) Carrickmore, Boyle, Co. Roscommon, and formerly of The Forest Park Hotel and Coventry, UK on Thursday, 22nd February 2024, peacefully in the care of Sligo University Hospital and the North West Hospice, Sligo. Predeceased by her husband Michael, her parents Maria Assumpta and George Rowley and her brothers Eric and Ted.

Ann will be sadly missed by her daughter Maria, sons John, David, Charles, Michael and Anthony, sisters Barbara and Margaret,, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, neighbours, her many carers and friends.

Rest in Peace

Reposing at Mahons Funeral Home, The Crescent, Boyle on Sunday February 25th from 4.00pm until 6.30pm followed by removal to St Joseph's Church, Boyle arriving at 7.00pm. Funeral Mass on Monday, February 26th, at 11.00am followed by burial at Assylinn Cemetery. Funeral Mass can be viewed on www.churchtv.ie/boyle
