Peacefully, on February 22nd, 2026, in the exceptional and gentle care of the devoted staff of Glendonagh Nursing Home, surrounded by the love and presence of her family.

 

Ann, beloved and devoted wife of the late Jim, and treasured mother to Sharon McGrath, Áine O’Keeffe, Emer Furlong, Ailish Groarke and Fergus, who were the pride and joy of her life.

 

A cherished and much-adored Granny to Jennifer, Andrea, Erica, Orla, Adam, Aisling, Clodagh, Cormac, Adam and Jessie, whose lives she filled with warmth, kindness and unwavering love, and a treasured Great-Granny to Rosie, who brought her such happiness.

 

Dearly loved sister of Brian and Gerry and the late Mary (Pansy) and Eugene.

 

Ann will be sadly missed and forever lovingly remembered by her devoted daughters and son, sons-in-law Barry, Mick, Mark and Declan, daughter-in-law Caroline, her adored grandchildren and great-grandchild, brothers, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, wonderful neighbours and wide circle of friends, especially her dear and much-loved friend Carla, who held a special place in her heart.

 

Ann’s warmth, gentle nature and loving spirit will live on in all who were blessed to know her.

 

May Ann Rest in Peace.

 

Ann will repose in O’Farrell’s Funeral Home, Riverside Way, Midleton, P25 X382 on Tuesday 24th February, from 5.00pm to 6.30pm.

 

Reception into Church of the Most Holy Rosary, Midleton, on Wednesday 25th February, for 11.00am Funeral Mass, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
