The death has occurred of Ann Maria Dunne (Née Byrne), Nirvana, The Old Rectory, Donaghmore, Donard, Co. Wicklow, formerly home to Chrysalis Retreat Centre which she founded.
Ann Maria passed away peacefully at the Beacon Hospital February 5th, 2021 under the exceptionally compassionate care of the Oncology and palliative Care teams. She was uniquely accompanied to the end by her present and virtual circles of family, friends and Anam Cáirde. Ann Maria was predeceased by her parents Gene and Angela and her beloved husband Andrew Dunne.
Due to government advice and restrictions a private funeral mass of 10 people will take place on Sunday the 7th February 2021 at 11am to be celebrated by Fr. Myles O' Reilly. The service will be live streamed at followed by burial at the graveyard of the Church of Our Lady of Dolours and St. Patrick, Davidstown, Glen of Imaal, Co. Wicklow.
