O’FLYNN (Cork): On September 22nd , 2023, peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, in the tender loving care of the staff at Marymount Hospicde, ANN (née McCarthy), Knockrea Gardens, Ballinlough Road, cherished mother of Melanie (Walsh), Brian, Claire (Murray), Denis, Patrick and the late Kevin.

She will be greatly missed by her children and their father Denis, grandchildren, brother Finbar, sons-in-law Pat and Mick, daughters-in-law Clare and Gemma, extended family, her former colleagues in the Irish Examiner and wonderful friends in Carrigaline.

Reposing at the Temple Hill Funeral Home, Boreenmanna Road of Jerh. O’Connor Ltd: On Saturday (September 23rd) from 4.00pm to 5.00pm.

Requiem Mass at 11.00am on Monday (September 25th) in the Church of Our Lady of Lourdes, Ballinlough which can be viewed

Funeral afterwards to the Island Crematorium, Rocky Island, Ringaskiddy, Co. Cork.
