Ann Pomphrett
(née Fitzpatrick)
Ann Pomphrett (nee Fitzpatrick), Newcastle, Athenry and formerly of Raheen, Athenry, Co.Galway.
Passed away peacefully on the 15th October after a short illness in the wonderful care of the Blackrock Galway Clinic.
Deeply mourned by her husband Sean, children Ian, Mark and Susan, siblings Martin, Brigid, Billy and Kathleen, grandchildren Cassie, Adam, Elora, Jenna, Odessa, Sophia, Clodagh, Avey and Keir, son in-law Noel, daughter in-law Maggie, sisters in-law, brothers in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at Quinn’s Funeral Home, Athenry on Friday 17th of October from 5pm to 7pm. Arriving to the Church of The Immaculate Conception, Newcastle on Saturday 18th for Funeral Mass at 11:30am, followed by a cremation service in Shannon Crematorium. Mass will be live streamed on https://churchmedia.tv/camera/the-church-of-the-immaculate-conception.
House private and no flowers by request. Donations, if desired to Athenry Tidy Towns Committee. Those who wish to leave a message of condolence to Ann’s family can do so in the condolence section below.
The family would like to give their heartfelt thanks to the amazing and caring staff of the Blackrock Galway Clinic for their special care of Ann and family in her last days.
