Ann WHELAN
(née Heagney)
WHELAN Ann (nee Heagney) (Rathgar, Dublin 6) – July 10, 2019, peacefully, after a long illness in the kind care of St. Vincent’s University Hospital. Beloved wife (for 57 years) of Joseph, mother to daughters Judi, Clodagh, Margaret and Patricia, loving grandmother of Murrough, Myles,Elisa, Joey, Maeve, Conor and Ciara and sister to Paul, Marjorie, Katherine and the late John. Will be greatly missed by her family, sons-in-law Murrough and Emanuele, lifelong friend Frances, former colleagues, relatives and wide circle of friends.
Rest in Peace.
Reposing at Fanagans Funeral Home, Willbrook, Rathfarnham on Friday (12 July) from 5pm to 7pm. Removal on Saturday morning (13 July) to St. Joseph's Church, Terenure for Funeral Mass at 10.30am, followed by burial at Deans Grange Cemetery.
