CALLANAN (Lower House, Ballymacowen, Clonakilty): On February 16th 2026, peacefully in the presence of her family and in the wonderful care of the staff of The Dochas Ward at Clonakilty Community Hospital. ANNA (nee Walsh) in her 105th year, wife of the late Seamus, loving mother of Mairead (O’Connell), Seamus, Áine (Dolan) and the late Sean, mother-in-law of the late Pat, sister of the late Dan, Sean, Sonny and Maureen. Sadly missed by her loving daughters, son, son-in-law Gerard, daughters-in-law Mary and Eleanor, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brothers David and Pat, sisters Nellie, Sheila, Catherine and Peg, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

Reposing in O’Sullivan’s Funeral Home, Clonakilty on Wednesday, February 18th 2026 from 5pm to 7.30pm followed by Prayers. Requiem Mass on Thursday, February 19th 2026 at 12 noon in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Clonakilty. This will be livestreamed here. Funeral afterwards to Darrara Cemetery.
