Anna Hughes née Rowan of Pairc Bhride, Athy and formerly of Tomard, passed away peacefully on Friday October 17th surrounded by her loving family in the tender care of the staff of Our Lady’s Ward, St. Vincent’s Hospital, Athy. Pre-deceased by her parents John and Annie Rowan, her brother Edward (Dinky), sisters Sheila and Dina and devoted husband Martin. Sadly missed by her children Geraldine, Rose Ann, Jennifer, Margaret, Grace and Martin, sons-in-law and daughter-in-law, her 13 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren, brother Johnny, sisters Betty, Kitty, Peggy and Mary, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Rest in Peace

Reposing at Rigney's Funeral Home, Athy (R14 TX26) on Sunday (October 19th) from 2pm until the conclusion of the Rosary at 8pm. Removal at 10.30am on Monday morning (October 20th) to arrive at St. Michael's Parish Church, Athy for Requiem Mass at 11am, see livestream link http://www.parishofathy.ie. Burial afterwards in St. Michael's New Cemetery, Athy.
