Anna HYAMS
(née Carey)

Formerly of Galway, Singapore, Malaysia, Malawi, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Dublin and New York. Peacefully, in St. Vincent’s Private Hospital after a short illness borne with such great dignity, with her family by her side. She will be deeply missed and remembered with so much love and affection by her husband of 54 years Kevin, son Avron, daughter Michali, daughter-in-law Inger, her little darlings Ezra, Alva and her much anticipated “bubble”, brother Neil, sister-in-law Geraldine, and her legions of loyal friends across the world. The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to all the staff at St. Vincent’s Private for their extraordinary kindness and care.

May her memory be a blessing.

A Service to celebrate her life and the joy she brought to everyone who knew her will take place at 10 am on Friday morning (6th October) in the Victorian Chapel, Mount Jerome which can be viewed live on this link https://www.mountjerome.ie/victorian-chapel-service/

Friends are invited to join the family after the service at the house on Waterfall Road in Enniskerry for food and refreshments (and some of Anna’s signature cakes). Follow your GPS to A98 AK63 and if you’ve hit the waterfall you’ve gone too far.
