The death has occurred of Anna Kiernan on the 18th December 2021, peacefully in the loving care of her son Jimmy and family (Coolure), after a long illness. Pre-deceased by her husband Chris and infant son Gerard. Deeply regretted by her sons John, Jimmy and Chris, daughter Mary Boyle, son in-law Phillip, daughter in-law Máiréad, her adored grandchildren Charlie, Annie, Conor, Jennie, Christopher and Katie, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Shaw's Funeral Home, Mullingar on Monday, 20th December, from 4pm until 6.30pm. Removal to the Church Of The Immaculate Conception, Coole, arriving for 7.30pm. In order to comply with current guidelines, hand shaking is not advised, this is walk by only. Anna's Funeral Mass will take place Tuesday, 21st December, at 11am, followed by burial at Whitehall Cemetery. 

The family would like to sincerely thank Dr. Emma O'Hara and staff at Castlepollard Medical Practice, Marcus Melligan and staff at Greene Street Pharmacy, the Public Health nurses, and the many carers who cared for Anna so lovingly over the years. Family flowers only. Donations if desired to Irish Alzheimer's Society.

Please adhere to Covid restrictions which are still in place, those attending the funeral are asked to refrain from shaking hands, to continue to wear face masks and to observe social distancing where necessary.
