The death has occurred of
Anna (Nancy) McCarthy
(née Patterson)
McCARTHY (Birmingham, England and formerly of Maune, Skibbereen and Blackrock, Cork): On July 22nd 2023 peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family. ANNA (Nancy) (nee Patterson) beloved wife of the late Michael McCarthy, devoted mother to John, Jeremiah, Georgina and her late infant daughter Teresa, loving grandmother to Gerard, Anna, Mary, Kate and Tara and all her great-grandchildren, mother-in-law of the late Geraldine. She will be sadly missed by her family, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, daughter-in-law Bernie, son-in-law Tomas, sister Etta, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Requiem Mass on Wednesday, August 23rd 2023, at 11am in the Holy Family Church, Caheragh. Funeral afterwards to Caheragh Old Cemetery.
Family flowers only, donations in lieu, if desired, to the Alzheimer’s Association.
