Anna O Connell (nee O Connor) Bawnmore, Ardpatrick, Kilmallock Co. Limerick and late of Rossa, Doneraile, Co. Cork. Retired Matron of Heatherside Hospital, Buttevant, Co. Cork.

Anna passed peacefully in the loving care of the staff of St. Martha’s nursing home, Charleville, Co. Cork on the 17th April 2025. Pre deceased by her husband Dan, sisters Mary Ellen (Moynihan) and Eileen (Hannon). Deeply regretted by her daughter Helena, sons Denis and David, daughter in law Ciara and Helena’s partner Sean. Will be forever missed by her cherished grandchildren Rebecca, Emma, Sean, Leah, Ríoch and Anna, sister Noreen (O Grady), brothers Dan Joe and Tommy, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, kind relatives and wonderful friends.

Rest in peace

Reposing at McCarthys Funeral Home, Kilfinane V35 E791 Sunday 20th April from 6-8pm. Arriving at St Patrick’s Church, Ardpatrick on Monday 21st April for requiem mass at 12 midday. Burial afterwards at Ballingaddy cemetery.
