Anne better known as Doll Gannon

The death has occurred of Anne Gannon (née Daly) better known as Doll, “Kantara”, Breaffy Road, Castlebar, Co. Mayo and formerly of Westport, on 21st February 2025, peacefully at the Mayo Hospice, Castlebar, surrounded by her loving family.

Predeceased by her loving husband Austin (Austie), her beloved sons Joe, John and Michael, her parents Nora and Tom, her sisters Kathleeen and Betty and her brother Thomas.

Dearly loved mother of Anne, Tommy, Olive, Alan and Karen.

She will be sadly missed by her heartbroken daughters and sons and their partners, her cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren, her niece Ann, cousins, relatives and many friends.

May her gentle soul rest in peace.

Doll will repose in Kilcoyne’s Funeral Home, Thomas Street, Castlebar F23 FD90, on Sunday 23rd February from 5.30pm to 7.00pm. Removal from her home on Monday at 10.30am arriving to St. Aloysius Church, Breaffy for Funeral Mass 11.30am. Funeral afterwards to the New Cemetery, Castlebar. The Funeral Mass will be live-streamed on www.churchtv.ie/breaffy
