Anne Cagney

Anne Cagney, Garrylaurence, Dungourney, on February 15th, 2025. Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, in the excellent care of the staff at Bon Secours Hospital, Cork. Anne (née Burke), beloved wife of James, dear mother of Daniel, Andrew, and Maeve. Much-loved daughter of Carol and the late Dick. Dear sister of Helen, Carol, and Maeve. Daughter-in-law of Rene and the late John Cagney.

Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband, sons, daughter, mother, sisters, Daniel’s girlfriend Kerri, mother-in-law, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, aunts, uncles, nephews (especially her nephew David), nieces, relatives, a large circle of friends and colleagues at Rockwell Automation Ltd.

Anne will repose in O’Farrell’s Funeral Home, Riverside Way, Midleton
on Tuesday, 18th February from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Funeral Mass on Wednesday, 19th February at 11:00 a.m. in The Church of The Way, Togher followed by burial in St. Michael’s Cemetery, Blackrock.

Anne’s family would like to acknowledge the care and kindness shown to Anne by the Marymount Community Palliative Care nurses, especially Jill and Cathy.
