Anne Cahir (née McDonnell) of Monroe, New York, formerly of Ballinea, Mullingar, Co. Westmeath, died peacefully at Garnet Medical Centre, Middletown, New York, on the 7th of January 2026.

Beloved mother of Denise and mother-in-law of Nicholas Malito. Deeply regretted by her loving family; sisters Nuala Bolger and Mary Baughan, brothers Michael (Breda) and Oliver (Maria), nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours, friends, and her dog Colin.

Predeceased by her husband, James (formerly of Kells, Corofin, Co. Clare), sister Philomena McDonnell, identical twin sister Teresa Flynn, and brothers Jimmy, Pat Joe, and Sonny.

Funeral Arrangements: Reposing at St. Brigid’s Church, Corofin, on Friday (16th January) from 8 pm, concluding with funeral prayers at 9 pm. Funeral Mass Saturday (17th January) at 11 am. Burial afterwards in Laghtagoona (New) Cemetery, Corofin.
