Anne Canty
(née O'Gorman)

The death has occurred of Anne Canty (nee O’Gorman) Ballydehob, Co. Cork and Chicago. Peacefully in the presence of her loving family and in the exceptional care of Aperee Living Bantry.  

Beloved wife of the late Tom, adored Mother of Maureen, Stephen, Tommy, Lisa, Deirdre and the late Bryan. Deeply missed by her daughters in law, Margaret (Tommy) and Sarah (Stephen), sons in law Martin (Lisa) and Steve (Maureen) and Deirdre’s partner Frank. The most wonderful Grandma to Maeve, Brendan, Rowan, Saoirse, Liam, Tiernan, Eveanna, Aoife, Maya and Lois.  

Anne will be sadly missed by her heartbroken children, grandchildren, daughters in law, sons in law, nephews and nieces in Ireland and Chicago.

May she Rest in Peace.

Requiem Mass at 2pm in St. Brigid's Church, Ballydehob on Monday, April 18th. Burial afterwards in Schull Cemetery. House strictly private. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu to The Alzheimer’s Society of Ireland.
