The death has occurred of
Anne Grant
(née Lane)
Anne Grant (née Lane) of Shankill, Co. Dublin, died peacefully on 18th October 2025, surrounded by her loving and heartbroken family and friends and in the wonderful care of Sugarloaf Care Centre.
Beloved daughter of May and Henry, much loved mother of Jonathan, Annemarie, Daragh and Dan and loving Nana of her precious grandchildren Harry, Emily, Zoe, Ross, Laura, Finn and Sadhbh. Lovingly remembered by her wonderful daughters-in-law Pam, Tracey and Aoife, best friends Janet, Margaret, Roma, Carmel, Catherine and Hilary and all Anne’s loving carers, neighbours, extended family and many friends.
The family would like to express their sincere thanks to the nurses, carers and staff of St. Michael’s Hospital, Dun Laoghaire, Sugarloaf Care Centre and Wicklow Hospice for the exceptional care given to Anne.
Funeral Mass on Tuesday (21st October) at 10.00am in St. Anne’s Church, Shankill followed by private burial. Donations, in lieu of flowers, to Wicklow Hospice.
