Anne Hannaford (née McGrath) Ardriston, Tullow and formerly of Ballintemple, Ardattin, Tullow, Co. Carlow and Brentford, London, UK – 18th January 2026 peacefully at St. Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny surrounded by her heartbroken husband Les and daughters Sharon, Linda and Clare.

 

She will be sadly missed by her loving husband, daughters, sons-in-law, grandchildren, brothers Robert and Danny, sisters Mary and Margaret, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, kind friends and close neighbours.

 

May Anne’s Gentle Soul Rest In Peace.

 

Reposing at Halligan’s Funeral Home, Barrack Street, Tullow (Eircode R93 TX99) on Wednesday afternoon from 3pm concluding at 8pm. Funeral Home private thereafter please. Funeral arriving to The Church of the Immaculate Conception, Ardattin on Thursday for 11am Requiem Mass after which she will be laid to rest in the adjoining cemetery.

 

Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to The District Hospital, Carlow.
