ANNE MACKEY (Hannah née O’Reilly) Mogeely, Co. Cork late of Imokilly CoOp and former sacristan Sacred Heart Church, Mogeely.

 

On 23rd February 2026 in her 92nd year, Anne passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family and in the tender loving care of the staff of Youghal Community Hospital.

 

Predeceased by her husband Jeremiah, her daughter Mary, her sister Beth and brother Michael.

 

Much loved mother to Anna (Beausang) and Betty (Keane) and mother-in-law to John and Denis. Aunt to Micheál. Adoring and adored grandmother of Jack, Daniel, Áine and Sarah.

 

Anne will be dearly missed and forever loved by her family, neighbours and lifelong friend Nora.

The Beausang and Keane families would like to sincerely thank the staff of Youghal Community Hospital for the wonderful care and support that Anne received during her time spent there.

 

Reposing at Hyde's Funeral Home, Drury’s Avenue, Midleton P25VW02 on Tuesday February 24th from 5pm to 6.30pm.

 

Requiem Mass on Wednesday 25th in the Sacred Heart Church, Mogeely at 11am, followed by burial in Mogeely Old Cemetery.
