Anne Heavey

A proud Athlone native who spent much of her life in New York, Anne passed away after a short illness on the 11th of December 2025 in the care of Riverside Nursing Home, Manhattan, NYC.

Predeceased by her parents Andrew and May Heavey (nee Scott) and 12 of her siblings. Survived by her sister Paula, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, and many nieces and nephews. Fondly remembered by all her family and her close and long-standing friends in New York including Mary Walshe and Mollie Rogan.

A Funeral Mass for Anne will take place in St. Mary’s Church (N37 XP66) at 12 noon on Saturday (17th. January).
