The death has occurred of
Anne Lyons
(née Dorgan)
It is with a heavy heart that the Lyons family say goodbye to a loving wife, mother and nana Anne Lyons (née Dorgan), Dromore, Dromahane and formerly Watergrasshill, who passed away suddenly but peacefully on January 1st, 2025, at the Mercy University Hospital, Cork, beloved wife of Albert, dear mother of Margaret (Slyne), Martin, Padraig, Joseph, Siobhan (Lynch), Katherina (McSweeney) and Jacqueline (O’Shea), sister of the late Peggy, Nora, Donal and Patrick and mother-in-law of the late Richard and Ailish.
Sadly missed by the her loving husband, family, brothers Mikey, John, Timmy and Denis, sisters Kathleen, Eileen and Mary, sons-in-law Jim, Denis and John Paul, daughters-in-law Kristen, Angela and Marie, her adored 21 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours, friends and Anne’s wonderful carers Nuala, Liz, Monica, John, Claire, Siobhan and Paula.

Lying in repose at O'Connell's Funeral Home, St. James' Avenue, Mallow (P51 HH61) on Friday (January 3rd) from 5.30pm with Prayers at 7pm followed by Removal to St. Peter the Apostle Church, Dromahane.
Requiem Mass on Saturday (January 4th) at 12noon which may be viewed on
Funeral afterwards to St. John's Cemetery, Glantane.
A special word of thanks to the Doctors, Nurses and Staff of the Mercy University Hospital, Cork for the great care shown to our mother during her time with them.
