Anne passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family, after a short illness borne with dignity and grace. She was surrounded by love and is now in her garden in Heaven, joined by her family Nancy & Paddy Simpson, sister Geraldine, brothers Noel and Dickie and Elsie and Jemmy Macken. She will be deeply missed by her husband Jim, her daughter Anne Marie, son-in-law Pádraig, treasured grandchildren Amaya and Kaden. Beloved sister of May, Jackie (New Zealand), Clare and Padraig. Dearly missed by a wide circle of extended family, neighbours and friends.

Requiem Mass will take place on Monday, 2nd May, at 11am in Saint Brigid's Church, Dunleer, Co. Louth which can be viewed live through the parish website's youtube channel https://www.dunleerparish.ie. Burial afterwards in Dromin Cemetery (A92 E732).
