Anne Mae Guerin
(née Murphy)
On January 26th, 2025, ANNE MAE, passed peacefully away in her 86th year, following a short illness surrounded by her loving family, in the excellent care of staff at Bantry General Hospital. Predeceased by her beloved husband John, son Raymond and siblings Den, Bridie, John and Patrick, loving mother to Patricia (O’Sullivan), Seán and Caroline (O’Callaghan). Sadly missed by her loving family, sisters Sheila, Kitty and Mary, brother-in-law Michael, sons-in-law Jerry and Peter, daughters-in-law Janine and Maureen, heartbroken grandchildren Gearóid, Deirdre, Siobhán, Áine, Aoife, Kate, Peadar and Raymond Jr., great grandchildren Ciara, Darragh, Grace, Sophie, Ryan, Fionn & Oisín, nieces, nephews, her extended family and her many friends.
Ar dheis Dé go raibh a hanam.
Reposing at Coakleys Funeral Home, Chapel Street, Bantry on Tuesday Jan. 28th from 5.30pm to 7pm with prayers at 7pm. Requiem Mass on Wednesday Jan 29th at 11am at Sacred Heart Church, Glengarriff (to view live stream please click here) followed by burial in Glengarriff Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu if desired to the Friends of Bantry General Hospital, c/o Bantry General Hospital.
