Anne Marie Cooney

The Death has occurred of Anne Marie Cooney (nee Holmes), Glen Abhainn, Enfield, Co Meath and formerly from Palmerstown, Dublin who passed away on July 17th 2024 (suddenly but peacefully) at Connoly Memorial Hospital, Blanchardstown surrounded by her loving family, following a tragic accident aged 85 years.

Anne Marie was an active and popular member of the local Jordanstown choir and Enfield knitting group. She is pre-deceased by husband Stephen, sister Dolores, her little Angels Jennifer and Marie, and her brother Michael who passed recently. She will be sadly missed by Her adoring children Yvonne, Fiona, Antoin, Ger & Shane, her sisters Lily, May, Geraldine and Vera, brothers-in-law Chris and John, grandchildren Josh, Andrew, Hannah, Abbie, Sam, Ben, Alia, Isabelle, Elliot, Lily, Faye, Reuben, Luca and Aurora and great-granddaughter Lola, daughters and sons-in-law Roger, Martina, Brian, John, Sinead and Derek, and all her many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews who she loved dearly.

Anne Marie lived life to the full and stayed active until the end. Daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, neighbour and friend.

Anne Marie will repose at Cunninghams Funeral Home Lucan (K78 R2C1) on Sunday from 3pm until 5pm. Family and close friends are welcome from 6.30 to 8.30 pm at Anne Marie's home in Enfield

Anne Marie’s Funeral Mass will be celebrated in Church of the Assumption, Jordanstown, Enfield (A83 Y021) on Monday at 11 am followed by Cremation in Newlands Crematorium at 1.30pm
