Anne McCarthy
(née Wills)
McCARTHY (Ashburton, Gardiner’s Hill, Cork): On December 18th, 2023, peacefully, in the presence of her loving family and in the tender care of the staff at the Cork University Hospital. ANNE (née Wills), loving wife of the late John and loving mother of Breda (Forde), Mary and Fiona (Browne), sister of Sonny and Maura (Aherne) and the late Kathleen (Walsh), mother-in-law of Maurice and the late Stephen.
Sadly missed by her devoted family, grandchildren Anne-Marie, Louise, Seán, Stephanie and Alex, brother-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
Reposing in our Mayfield Funeral Home, Old Youghal Road of Jerh. O’Connor Ltd: On Wednesday (December 20th) from 5.00pm to 6.00pm.
Requiem Mass at 11.00am on Thursday (December 21st) in St. Joseph’s Church, Mayfield. Funeral afterwards to Rathcooney Cemetery.
