ANNE O’MAHONY (Castlemartyr, Co. Cork). It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved Anne, a dear mother, sister, grandmother and friend. After receiving loving attention and care from the wonderful staff at Brookfield Care Centre, Leamlara, Anne passed away peacefully on April 7th 2024 surrounded by her three daughters in the exceptional care of the staff at Cork University Hospital.

 

Beloved mother of Emily, Grainne and Marguerita, adoring grandmother of Annie and Patrick, dear sister of Liam and Pat Scanlon, daughter of the late Jeremiah and Catherine Scanlon. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her family, son-in-law Rodney Herlihy, sisters-in-law, extended family, neighbours and friends.

May Anne Rest In Peace.

 

Anne will repose at Hyde’s Funeral Home, Drury’s Avenue, Midleton on Monday 8th from 7pm-8pm.

 

Requiem Mass on Tuesday 9th at 11.30am in St. Joseph’s Church, Castlemartyr followed by burial in Mogeely Old Cemetery.
