Anne Rooney, Grehanstown, Killucan, Co. Westmeath (and late of Mount Cashel, Roscommon) 5th April 2025 (unexpectedly but peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family). Predeceased by her beloved husband Jimmy, parents Tom and Bridie, brothers Fr. Dominick, Fr. Tommy, Fr. Peter and John Gillooly, nephew David, sister-in-law Moira Lyons, brothers-in-law Paddy Lyons, Jim Fallon and Michael Leyden.

Loving mother to Anthony, Mary, Clare, Louise, Veronica, Sarah Jane, Bernadine, Áine, Gemma, James and Edward. Beloved granny of Charlotte, Lily, Alex, Kobe and Annabel. Deeply missed by her heartbroken children, grandchildren, sister Margaret Leyden (Florida), sons-in-law Eamonn & Darryl, brother-in-law Willie Rooney (Surrey), sisters-in-law Alice Rooney (Surrey), Ann Fallon (Moyvoughley) & Carmel Gillooly (Mount Cashel), nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and her wide circle of friends & past pupils.

A wonderful lady whose kind & gentle presence touched the hearts of many.

Reposing in St.Camillus Nursing Centre Chapel, Killucan, Co. Westmeath (Eircode N91VF51) this Wednesday evening (9th April) from 4pm concluding with prayers at 6pm. Funeral Mass on Thursday (10th April) in St. Joseph's Church, Rathwire at 11am with burial afterwards in local cemetery.
