Anne Tiernan

With great sorrow we announce the death of Anne Tiernan nee Devlin. Anne passed away peacefully on 15 November 2024 in St Vincent's Hospital, Dublin. Late of Graiguenamanagh, Co. Kilkenny and formerly Killiney and Drumcondra, Dublin. Anne will be forever missed by her loving son Eric and daughter Avril. Grandchildren Megan, Riley, Devlin, Conall and Rose, Great Granddaughter Willow and son-in-law Charlie. Anne’s elder brother Frank, little sister’s Eilish and Stella. Sister-in-law Joss and Marie, brother-in-law Sean and many nephews and nieces, friends and neighbours.

Thanks to all the staff of Mount Carmel in Callan for welcoming Anne into their family and for their excellent care and support over the last year. Thanks to all Anne’s carers, doctors and nurses for their care and compassion.

Anne will be reposing this Wednesday evening between 6pm-7pm at Murphy's Funeral Home, Edenmore Park, Edenmore Dublin 5. D05Y313

Funeral mass will take place on Thursday morning arriving at 9.50am for 10am Mass at Corpus Christi Church, Drumcondra, Dublin 9 followed by burial afterwards at Glasnevin Cemetery Finglas Road, Dublin 9.
