(née Taylor)
Anne Townsend (née Taylor) late of Margaretholme and Mount Tabor, Sandymount, Dublin 4 and formerly of Lucan, Co. Dublin, passed away peacefully in her 94th year on Thursday, 2nd January 2025. Beloved wife of the late Alec (Alick), devoted and loving mother of David, Susan and Jill, mother-in-law of Kate, Myles Houlden and Myles Campion, adored Nanny of Rory and Hugo, Hannah, Alex and Robert, Luke, Adam and Josh and sister of the late Jack. Sadly missed by her family, Hannah’s husband Niall, Alex’s fiancée Tina, also by Lauren, Carolina and Alison, sisters-in-law Elsie and Elke, niece, nephews, extended family and friends.
Reposing at Colliers Funeral Home, Old Connaught Avenue, Bray, on Tuesday (Jan.7) from 7.00pm – 8.00pm. Funeral Service on Wednesday (Jan.8) at 11.00am in St. Andrew’s Church of Ireland, Main Street, Lucan, followed by Committal Service at 1.00pm in the Victorian Chapel, Mount Jerome Crematorium, Harold’s Cross, Dublin 6W. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to the Irish Cancer Society.
