The death has occurred of
Anne Walsh
(née Murphy)
WALSH (Mountain East, Ardfield and formerly of “Bayview House”, West End, Castletownbere): on January 2nd 2023 unexpectedly at Cork University Hospital. ANNE (Anne-Marie nee Murphy) beloved wife of Denis, devoted mother of Clodagh Marie, daughter of the late Michael and Sheila Murphy. Sadly missed by her heartbroken husband, daughter, brothers Liam, Adrian, Michael, Basil and Ian, sisters Edel and Fidelma, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, work colleagues at Bandon Vale Cheese, neighbours and a large circle of friends.
Reposing at her residence Mountain East, Ardfield (P85 CV90) on Wednesday, January 4th 2023 from 3pm to 7pm. Reception into St. James’ Church, Ardfield, on Thursday, January 5th 2023 at 1.45pm followed by Requiem Mass at 2pm, this will be livestreamed via Ardfield / Rathbarry Facebook . Funeral afterwards to the adjoining cemetery.
(When attending Anne’s residence on Wednesday, approach from Twohig’s Hill as a one way system will be in place.)

The family would like to thank the emergency services, the staff at the Cardiology Unit at Cork University Hospital and Bernie Walsh who all provided great care to Anne.
