Annette (Etta) Evans (née Hunter) of Sandycove, Co. Dublin, formerly of Sligo and late school principal of St. Matthew’s National School, Irishtown, Dublin 4, died peacefully at home, in the loving care of her family, on Thursday, 26th November 2020, after a long illness bravely borne. A loving wife, full of adventure, fortitude and fun, who treasured her family home, friends and garden, she will be deeply missed by her husband Roland, son Peter, daughter Rebecca, sons-in-law David and Conail, grandchildren Ellis and Sam, siblings George, Florence, Bertha, Alec, Kenneth, Rose, Ruth, Beatrice, Joan and Andrew together with their families, relatives, many good friends and neighbours. Recently, sadly predeceased by her brother Ernie.

Annette’s cortège will depart her residence on Tuesday, 1st December, at 10.40am, walking to St. Paul’s Church, Silchester Road, Glenageary, arriving at 11.00am for a private family funeral service, which may be viewed on  https://youtu.be/7MUxvrDH-Lo.
