Annie Matthews née Coyle, Clonard Street, Balbriggan, Co. Dublin and formerly of Townrath, Drogheda, Co. Louth. 24th March 2026, Peacefully at Moorehall Lodge Balbriggan, surrounded by her loving family in her 99th year. Predeceased by her husband Jack and daughter Mary. Beloved mother to John, Andrew and Roisín. Annie will be sadly missed by her sons, daughter, daughter-in-law Karen, sons-in-law Martin and Mick, grandchildren Shane, Ross, Seán, Holly, Kaitlyn and Shannon, great-grandchildren, sister Millie, sister-in-law Dympna, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

May Annie’s gentle soul Rest in Peace.

Reposing at her home on Friday from 4pm until 7pm.

Funeral Mass at 2pm on Saturday afternoon in St Peter and Pauls Church, Balbriggan, which can be viewed live on www.balbrigganparish.com/web-camera.

Burial will take place afterwards in St Peter and Paul’s Cemetery.
