Annie-May Leech (née Burke), Tallagh, Belmullet, Co. Mayo peacefully at the Belmullet Community Hospital surrounded with love and tenderness on 12th December 2025.

Predeceased by her husband Paddy, parents Pat and Annie, infant brother Patrick and her recently deceased son in law Philip.

Beloved mother of Linda Chin (London), Michael Leech (Worthing, England), and Jane Leech (Portsmouth, England). She will be sadly missed by her family, grandchildren Patrick, Marie Louise, Bridget, Thereze, Olivia, Cathy and Dominic, brother Eamon Burke (Tallagh, Belmullet), sisters Rita Sweeney (Tallagh, Belmullet) and Mary Burke (Newcastle on Tyne), nephews Ivan, Stephen, David and Dillon, nieces Diane, Rhona, Olga, relatives, kind neighbours and many friends.

Annie-May will lie in repose at McDonnell’s Funeral Home, Belmullet on Monday evening from 5 o’clock until 7 o’clock. Funeral will arrive at the Church of the Holy Family, Carne, Belmullet on Tuesday for Funeral Mass at 12 noon followed by burial in Tarmoncarra Cemetery.
