Anthony (Anto) Byrne

Byrne, Anthony (Anto), 20th January 2026 (Tallaght, Dublin 24 and formerly of Crumlin, Dublin 12). (Suddenly, but peacefully), surrounded by his loving family in the wonderful care of the staff in Tallaght Hospital; beloved husband and best friend to June and loving and devoted dad to Gavin and Glen.

Anto will be forever loved and very sadly missed by his heartbroken family, wife, sons, daughter-in-law Edele, his adored grandchildren Abbey, Nathan and Amé and their mam Paulina, great grandson Luca, step granddaughters Chloe and Abi, sisters, brothers, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends, and neighbours.

Reposing at the Brian McElroy Funeral Home, The Square, Tallaght (opp Tallaght Stadium) on Sunday (25th January) from 1pm to 3pm. A Service to celebrate Anto’s life will take place on Monday (26th January) at 10:30am in the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Unit 3A, Airton Terrace, Airton Road, Tallaght, (Eircode D24 PW10), followed by burial in Bohernabreena Cemetery.
