The death has occurred of
Anthony Callery
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Anthony Callery, Mallow and formerly of Bweeng Cross, Bweeng, Co. Cork, who passed away peacefully on September 7th 2025 in the tender care of the Doctors, Nurses and Staff at the Mercy University Hospital, Cork and surrounded by his loving family and friends.
Beloved son of John Callery and the late Rosemary (Glynn-Callery).
Sadly missed by his beloved family, dear friends and colleagues at Cork County Council.
May He Rest In Peace.
Lying in repose at O'Connell's Funeral Home, St. James' Avenue, Mallow (P51 HH61) on Wednesday (September 10th) from 5.30pm with Prayers at 7pm followed by Removal to St. Columba's Church, Bweeng.
Requiem Mass on Thursday (September 11th) at 2.30pm.
Funeral afterwards to the adjoining Cemetery.
The family would like to take this opportunity to thank the Staff of the Mallow Primary Healthcare Centre and the Mercy Hospital, Cork for the great care shown to Anthony during his illness.
