Anthony (Denis) Murphy

Murphy (Baker’s Road, Cork), on August 13th 2025, as a result of a tragic accident; Anthony (Denis), beloved son of the late David and Mary-Frances, much loved brother of Bernadette, Margaret, Derry, Trisha and David, nephew of the late Danny, Derry and Margaret Murray (née Buckley) and brother-in-law of the late Bernie. Sadly missed by his heartbroken sisters, brothers, nieces Vicky, Therese, Edel, Elaine, Sophie, Lucy and Ciara, nephews, Robert, David and Cian (God-son), grand-nieces, grand-nephews, sister-in-law Regina, brothers-in-law Sean, John and Jon, work colleagues at “Adima”, Norway, relatives, neighbours, friends and especially his best friend/cousin Noel.

Visitation at O’ Connor Bros. Funeral Home, North Gate Bridge on Sunday August 17th from 5.00pm to 6.00pm, with prayers at 5.45. Requiem Mass in The North Cathedral on Monday 18th August at 11.00am, which will be live-streamed on https://www.churchservices.tv/corkcathedral Funeral afterwards to St. Catherine’s Cemetery, Kilcully.
