The death has occurred of

Anthony Finnerty

Kingston, Galway / Ballinrobe, Mayo / Castlemungret, Limerick

Late of Creagh,  Ballinrobe,  Co. Mayo. Peacefully, at the Galway Hospice.  Sadly missed by his loving wife Mary, sons Paul, Aidan, John and David, daughters-in-law Catherine, Leanne and Triona, grandchildren Ava, Sive, Chloe, Seán, Noah and Rían, brothers and sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews, extended family, relatives and friends.

 

Reposing at home for immediate family, due to current health restrictions. Removal at 11.30am on Thursday, 13th August, to the Church of St. John the Apostle, Knocknacarra, Galway, to arrive for Requiem Mass at noon. Following Mass, Tony will be laid to rest in Castlemungret Cemetery, Mungret, Co. Limerick at 3pm approximately. Funeral Mass can be viewed on the Church Webcam at http://www.knocknacarraparish.ie

 

Those who would have liked to attend the funeral but cannot do so due to the current restrictions of numbers at the church and cemetery, are invited to leave a personal message in the condolence section below. This will be gratefully appreciated by the family. Family flowers only, please, donations, if desired, to the Galway Hospice or Cancer Care West.

The church is following a ‘wearing of masks’ policy. Refraining from hand shaking and using physical distancing guidelines is recommended.
