Anthony Gilligan

Anthony Gilligan (Culleendarragh, Multyfarnham and late of Hillside Drive, Mullingar) - March 8, 2024 (peacefully in his 91st year) in the excellent care of the staff at Portiuncula University Hospital, Ballinasloe, Co. Galway. Predeceased by his beloved wife Betty, dear grandson Corey, brothers Paddy and Jimmy and his sister Maura (McIntyre). Anthony will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by his devoted family, his children Ann, Martin, Tony and Olga, cherished grandchildren, dear friend Mary, sons-in-law Andrew Feerick and Gerry Whyte, daughters-in-law Siobhán and Laura, nieces, nephews, relatives, many friends and former colleagues of St Loman's Hospital Mullingar.

Reposing at Gilsenan's Funeral Home on Monday from 4 pm followed by Removal to the Cathedral of Christ the King arriving at 6.30 pm. Anthony's Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday at 11 am followed by cremation at Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan at 1.30 pm .The Mass may be viewed on the live webcam here.
