Anthony James (Jim) Mc CANN

Mc CANN (Pottery Road, Dun Laoghaire and formerly of Marian Park, Blackrock, Co. Dublin) – August 24th, 2025, (suddenly but peacefully) surrounded by his devoted wife, children and family and in the excellent care of the ICU staff at St. Vincent’s University Hospital. Anthony James (Jim) (late of Old Dun Laoghaire and Kill-o’-the-Grange Fire Stations and fondly known by his Orange Watch as “The Lord”, and former member of the Legion of Mary); dearly beloved husband and best friend of Miriam, much loved and adored father of Lisa, Rachel, James, Miriam and the late Baby Mary.

He will be very sadly missed by his loving wife, daughter's, son, son's-in-law John, Larry and Graham, adored grandad Jim to Dylan, Ethan, Alannah, Jack, Miss Lilly, Joshua, Conor, Noah Samuel and Amelia Skye, sister's Kathleen, Hazel and Brenda, brother John, extended family and friends.

Reposing at Patrick O’Donovan & Son Funeral Home, Sallynoggin A96 V962 on Wednesday (Aug 27th) from 5pm to 7pm with Prayers at 6.45pm (all welcome). Removal on Thursday (Aug 28th) to St. Brigid’s Church, Cabinteely arriving for 11.30am Requiem Mass. Funeral immediately afterwards to the Victorian Chapel at Mount Jerome Crematorium, Harold’s Cross D6W HY98 arriving for 1.45pm Cremation Service.
