Anthony Joseph Reilly

Anthony Joseph Reilly born 17/01/1954 - died 13/09/2024. Predeceased by his beloved parents John and Bridget, his brothers Martin, John, Tom and Micheal, sisters Maynie, Biddy and Winnie, and his 5 dear grandchildren.

Anthony will be forever missed and always remembered by his loving family, his wife and best friend Ann whom he married on the 01/12/1971 (52 years ago in St. Mary's Church, Carrick on Shannon), his loving children Martin, Tom, Brian, Bob, Theresa, Bridget, Bernadette, Geraldine, Margaret and Lisa, his 62 grandchildren and his 27 great-grandchildren, his loving sister Nan Stokes, nieces, nephews, neighbours and his many friends.

God saw the road was getting rough,
The hill was hard to climb,
He gently closed your weary eyes,
And whispered “Peace be thine”.

Reposing in Connell's Funeral Home, Church St, Longford N39 KN66, on Sunday 15th from 2pm until 5pm, followed with removal to St. Mary's Church, Carrick on Shannon for prayers at 6pm. Funeral Mass on Monday 16th at 11am, followed with burial in the local cemetery.
