Anthony Loughran

The death has occurred of Anthony Loughran, Comaghy, Mullyash, Castleblayney, Co. Monaghan. Tuesday 17th February 2026 peacefully in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda, surrounded by his loving family.

Predeceased by his parents Madge and Barney, brothers Patsy, John and Noel, sister-in-law Anne and his niece Anita.

Deeply regretted and lovingly missed by his devoted wife Mary, his daughters, Áine and Antoinette, son Patrick, their partners, Chris, Joe and Brianna, cherished grandchildren, Cian, James and Kaia, sisters-in law, brother-in law, nieces, nephews, extended family and wide circle of friends.

Anthony will repose at Corrigans Funeral Home, Lower Commons, Castleblayney (A75 E361) on Thursday from 3pm to 8pm and privately among his family, neighbours and friends at his home in Mullyash, at all other times.

Removal on Friday morning at 10:30am arriving to St Patrick’s Church, Oram, for requiem mass at 11am, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
