Anthony McNALLY

Anthony Michael McNally, aged 75, of Dublin, Ireland passed away January 31st, 2026 surrounded by family and friends. Born April 2nd, 1950 to Edward ‘Macker’ McNally and Mary McNally, Anthony grew up in Dublin, apprenticing to a barber at the age of 14. In 1973, Anthony emigrated to Canada where he married his wife, eventually settling in the United States where he raised a family, worked as a barber and became a beloved member of the local community. Anthony returned to Dublin in retirement where he spent time traveling and reconnecting with childhood friends.

Anthony is survived by his wife of 49 years Elizabeth (née Kangas); children Edward, Patrick, Maureen (Matthew), and Cathleen; grandchildren Vivian, Torin, and Onni; and sister Elaine. He was preceded in death by his parents Edward ‘Macker’ and Mary.

Anthony will be in repose at Fanagans Funeral Directors on Aungier Street, between 4pm and 6pm on Wednesday the 4th of February. A requiem mass will be held at St. Kevin’s Church on Harrington Street on Thursday the 5th of February at 11am, followed by burial at Mount Jerome cemetery.
