ANTHONY O’BRIEN

O’BRIEN (Baneshane, Midleton Co Cork). On November ​24th 2023 peacefully at Cork University Hospital after a long illness bravely borne. ​​​

 

Anthony, dearly loved son of Elsie and the late David, loving brother of Johnny, Josie (Beirne), Dave, Pat, Mary (McAlinden), Philip, Willie and lifelong friend of Helena. Godfather to Billy O’Brien and Aisling Cahalane, brother-in-law to Charlotte, Mary and Margaret, Paddy and Danny.

 

Sadly missed also by Johnny’s partner Julie, Dave’s partner Geraldine, his nephews and nieces Sarah, David, Niamh, Stephen, Patrick, Damien, Adrian, Martin, Killian, Ella, Sinead and Billy, extended family, neighbours and his huge circle of friends.​​

 

May Anthony Rest In Peace.

 

Anthony will repose at his brother Willie’s home in Baneshane on Sunday 26th from 4pm-8pm.

 

Reception into the Church of the Most Holy Rosary, Midleton, on Monday 27th for 11am Requiem Mass followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

 

Mass will be available to view live on the Parish TV Saorview Channel and on www.midletonparish.ie
