Anthony (Stoney) Burke

Anthony (Stoney) Burke, drummer, percussionist and musician. Mellifont Park, Drogheda and formerly of Bothar Brugha. 27th February 2025. Peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his parents Tom and Nancy and brother Pat. Beloved husband of Majella and loving dad to Anthony. Stoney, will be very sadly missed by his wife, son, brother Gerard, sister Anne, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours, friends and his many musician friends.

Reposing at Townley’s Funeral Home, Crosslanes, Drogheda (A92 XN75) on Saturday and Sunday evening from 5pm until 7pm. Funeral Mass on Monday morning at 11:30am in Our Lady of Lourdes Church which can be viewed live on www.saintpetersdrogheda.ie. Burial afterwards in St. Peter’s Cemetery.

 

Family flowers only. Donations if desired to Palliative Care – Cheque to: Louth Specialist Palliative Care Services, Dochas Centre, Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital.
